Prayer for Today 27th March 2020
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank and praise You for Your faithfulness and for Your promise to ´never leave or forsake´ Your people. We are reassured in these difficult days that You never change.
Pour out your comfort and joy upon those who are lonely and fearful in their isolation. Put a song in their hearts of Your great love and compassion. Cause many who do not know You to call out to You and put their trust in Jesus for salvation and healing. We ask Lord that many will experience You surrounding them with `songs of deliverance´ from fear and sadness.
For those bringing food and help to those isolated and alone we pray for their health and well-being. For those praying for loved ones and friends who are lonely, guide our prayers by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Name we ask, Amen!
John 16: 31-33
Do you now believe?” Jesus replied. “A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
