Prayer for Today 23rd March 2020
Almighty God our Heavenly Father,
As we enter our second week of lockdown in Spain, we want to thank You that we can still keep in touch online and through social media. We are so blessed by the many churches reaching out to their congregations and the wider world with the message of the Gospel.
We ask that Church services, online groups and video broadcasts would be empowered by Your precious Holy Spirit, for Your Word to be released in power into good soil in peoples hearts. May much Kingdom fruit be produced for Your glory Jesus and for multitudes of people to find hope, healing and forgiveness in Jesus mighty Name.
We take authority in Jesus Name over our enemy the devil, who would seek to disrupt and steal Gods Word away through online hacking and cyber-attacks. We ask for Your protection on churches proclaiming the living Word of God through websites and social media.
In Jesus wonderful Name we ask, Amen!
Bible verse:
2 Corinthians 10: 3 – 5
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
