Prayer for the Day – 19th March 2020
Our Father in Heaven,
Thank you for our health and strength.
We praise You because we are fearfully and wonderful made as Psalm 139 declares.
We come to You today in the power of Holy Spirit and in the healing Name of Jesus Christ, to pray for all those who are seriously sick in any way as a result of the coronavirus. We ask for them to be comforted, reassured and well-cared for.
Cause us to pray with a faith that results in tangible answers to prayer and miracles of Your divine healing.
We pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world who are seriously ill. May they know Your peace and see your victory in their situation. For those who are ill and alone or who do not have access to the right care, we pray they will put their trust in the Name of Jesus and be healed.
For those in our Churches suffering ill health in any way, come Holy Spirit to heal and strengthen them in Jesus Name. Amen!
Psalm 139: 1 – 6
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
This Thursday, 11th February at 11:00 Salt Church will hold a prayer meeting. Whilst this, because of the current circumstances, is pre-recorded it is an opportunity to unite as a church and wider community to pray together at the same time for issues facing us at this difficult moment. In this short trailer Chris and Helena encourage us to join together as a corporate body this Thursday, 11th February at 11:00 CET (10:00 UK).
We thank and praise You for family and friends … we are blessed.
We praise and thank you for answering many prayers around the world …
May we … keep on praying and not forget
In the book of Habakkuk the prophet chooses to praise …
