Food Bank – January 2023

The food bank we are supporting in January is the amalgamated Blue Lagoon and La Florida banks, newly registered under the charity ‘Orihuela Costa Community Foodbank’.

This bank will now cover from Punta Prima to Campoverde with clients in Pilar de la Horadada, Campoamor, Milpalmeras, Villamartin etc. This is an exciting development and we are now able to support a much wider group of people from Salt Church Los Montesinos as we provide food to this newly amalgamated charity. Please give generously.

Foodbank donation December 2022

Salt Church food bank donation this December, worked in partnership with Centro Solidario in Benijofar. This is a local Council linked shop supplying clothes, toys, furniture and household goods.  The shop is exclusively for all those registered on the social list and everything is FREE.
Claudia and Brian who run the shop, kindly passed our donated food onto Benijofar Town Hall Food bank.
Barbara Connerty on behalf of Salt Church said to Claudia and Brian “We were so moved by the gracious thanks of your social services councillor. It really encouraged us.  In the months ahead we will definitely include your food bank in our food distribution.  Blessings for all you do for the less fortunate”.
